a grandmother's teacup
★★★★★
Sent them my nani's teacup that sat in a cupboard for years. It came back glowing — I cried a little.

The experience
A candle made your way
No plain glass jars. No wasted vessels. Pick from our collection — or use a container you love, and we'll pour it into light.

Pick from teacups, bowls and urlis we've sourced — or use something of your own. Truly, anything.

100% soy wax, made in India — just pour them into any container.

Insert the wick, leaving a 1/4 inch tip visible. The wicks come along with the pearls.

An object you love, glowing on your shelf. When the wax ends, the vessel begins its second life.
A Kash candle vs an ordinary candle
One becomes a keepsake. The other goes in the bin.
Our story
Every vessel that arrives has a story.
Kash began with a small rebellion against the ordinary candle — an old porcelain teacup too pretty for the cupboard, and a question: why should a flame only live in a plain glass jar?
Today we pour for homes across India — for people who want ritual with a sense of wonder, and who believe the objects they love deserve a second life, glowing.

Frequently asked questions
We read every message. If your question isn't here, the kettle's on — write to us.
Yes, absolutely! We provide you with everything you need to start enjoying your Pearl Candles. Each Pearl Candle size comes with a sufficient number of wicks:
If you ever need additional wicks, you can purchase them from our website.
The most common reason why the wick is not burning for the full 9 hours is if the wick tip is left too far out of the pearls. When inserting the wick, aim to have only about a quarter-inch tip sticking out, just enough to light it. Leaving the wick our further will shorten the burn time.
100% soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance and lead-free cotton wicks.
Nope, you can relight the same wick multiple times and burn it as long as it lasts. Each wick can burn around 9 hours. That said, we give you plenty of wicks with every pearled candle so you could refresh your candle as often as you'd like to make it look new again.
You can also cut the wick and re-use the part that hasn't been used yet, or flip the wick to bury the melt pool for zero waste while still making your candle look brand new. Keep in mind cutting the wick will shorten the burn time.
Yes, the entire point of this candle is to reuse your own container and make the best use of them.
We highly recommend using containers with wide openings. Fireproof containers are recommended. You have a range of options to choose from, such as repurposing old burnt candle jars, using ceramic cups, or even opting for cylinder-shaped glass vases. The possibilities are truly endless!
