About Us
KASH takes its name from kāś — a Sanskrit root meaning to shine, to be radiant. It's the same root behind Kashi, the ancient name for the city of light. We liked that a name meant to describe brilliance could also describe a room lit by candlelight.
It also sounds like cashmere and that's not an accident either. We wanted KASH to feel the way cashmere does: soft, opulent, a little indulgent. Not just a candle you light, but an ambiance you sit inside of.
We make India's first scented pearl candles loose wax pearls, not a fixed pillar or jar. Pour them into any container you already own a teacup, a glass, a bowl that's been empty in your cupboard for years. You choose the shape. We make what shines inside it.
When it burns down, you're not done. Crush the leftover wax by hand once it's dry, swap in a fresh wick, pour again. Same container, new candle, no waste because every pearl is meant to be as individual and reusable as the person lighting it.
Plant-based wax. Auto-extinguishing if tipped. Made to shine — literally and otherwise.
Pour it. Wick it. Light it. Repeat.
